weighing tanks

How many load cells do I need for a tank with three feet?
If you are weighing liquids suffice it to have one load cell below one tank foot. Both other feet you form as a counter bearing in the form of a calotte. If you are weighing other goods e.g. bulk goods, which donít form a central bulk goods cone, then you need a load cell below each tank foot.

How many load cells do I need for a tank with four feet?
If you are weighing liquids suffice it to have two load cells below two adjoining tank feet. Both other feet you form as a counter bearing in the form of a calotte. If you are weighing other goods e.g. bulk goods, which donít form a central bulk goods cone, then you need a load cell below each tank foot.

How many load cells do I need for a tank with more than four feet?
You need independent of the kind of goods you are weighing below each foot a load cell. But the sum signal of all load cells you lead to one input of our measuring systems, e.g. a KAL-S7 or a RIA250GS.

Whatís about the tank piping?
Basically the piping has to be flexible. Otherwise there will act side forces on the load cell with the result of reduced accuracy.
